PMI Bacterial Strains
The PMI bacterial collection contains isolates from native, field, and greenhouse grown Populus roots derived from a variety of media but primarily R2A medium. Isolates were identified by 16S rDNA amplification and sequencing, and are maintained as glycerol stocks stored at −80oC. Details of the isolations can be found in Carper et al. 2021. This table represents the bacterial isolates that the PMI SFA has in its collection with links to genomic sequences and references. Please see the phylogenetic tree in the above reference for more details. Check back as we update the table periodically.
Requests for isolates from this collection can be made by emailing Dr. Dale Pelletier.
